The User-Agent Switcher is a tiny browser extension to easily change the default User Agent string of the browser. It supports Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and should work fine with other Chromium-based browsers. Install this extension from Chrome Store or Microsoft Edge Store.
This extension has few preset User-Agent strings like those of Firefox on Windows 10, Google Chrome on Android, Microsoft Edge, Safari on iPadOS, Google bot etc. Users can add a custom User-Agent string as well.
How To Use?
Once installed successfully, you would notice extension’s icon on the browser toolbar as shown in the above screenshot. Click on this icon to change the User-Agent setting of your browser. The extension pop-up has the options to change browser’s User-Agent string and enter a custom User-Agent string, as shown in the above screenshot.
To add and use a custom User-Agent string, enter your desired string in the input box and click on the save button. Now, select the option “My Custom User-Agent” in the drop-down menu.
To check and verify your User-Agent string setting, visit our tools page which also shows your public IP address, Do-Not-Track setting, Save-Data client hint request header setting and proposed prefer: safe HTTP header setting.

The following user-agent strings are available with this extension. Moreover, users can also add one custom user-agent string.

Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Arpit,
Hmmm…. i just installed and did not work at all. Does it really works in Windows 10?
it works!!
does not work at all in vivaldi with the chrome spoof
good extension. I like it for its simplicity and to-the-point approach.
I have just one request: add more pre set strings like Safari on iPhone and more like it.
chromebook user agent string? please add it to the list. I’m using the following :
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 12499.20.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/83.0.4103.61 Safari/537.36
this is the only extension that really works
sorry but seems to be a confusing set up
(1) is winzip actually
required to use or operate this addon extension !
(2) if so is there any charge for winzip initially or ongoing if it is required !
(3) article seems to suggest a simple download to place addon app on the edge browser, then wants to update all drivers why !
(4) is wording “my poor user agent” actually supposed to be entered in the user agent string box outlined, or an example just so the app is recognisable to the user. I appreciate your reply comments, Thanks
@Crane: I guess you are confused with some other extension or tool. This application is a browser extension, and doesn’t require WinZip etc. It installs directly in your browser without requiring any other utility.
