rebeccapurple: New CSS Color Name Now Supported In WebKit, Blink and Gecko

Thanks to the awesome developer community, a new named color has been added to the CSS4 Colors module. This named color, rebeccapurple, equivalents to #663399 or RGB(102,51,153).

Its support has been landed to WebKit, Blink and Mozilla’s Gecko rendering engines, which means you would be able to use it in Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari and various mobile browsers in future.

If you don’t know already, the rebeccapurple is a tribute to Eric Meyer’s adored daughter Rebecca, who passed away recently.
