Brendan Eich: New CEO Of Mozilla
Mozilla has appointed Brendan Eich its new CEO. Eich is co-founder and CTO of Mozilla. He is the man behind JavaScript, the programming language of web.
Another important news is that Jay Sullivan will leave the legendary non-profit organization soon. Sullivan is currently the acting CEO.
Eich said in a blog post released by Mozilla, “I am honored to have the role of leading Mozilla, as we look forward to our audacious goals across all of our products and the project as a whole.”. Mozilla’s chairperson, Mitchell Baker, writes in a blog post, “Mozilla needs to break down the walled gardens of online life and bring openness and opportunity to all. Once again, we have the chance to build products and communities in a way that no one else will. Once again, we will build something new and exciting.”.
