LG Chromebase – First All-in-one ChromeOS Device

LG today announced Chromebase – the first all-in-one ChromeOS device. The Chromebase will be unveiled at CES 2014 next month. With this announcement, LG has finally joined the ChromeOS family.

The Chromebase would have 21.5″ widescreen Full HD IPS screen. As the currently available Chromebooks have maximum 14″ display screen, ChromeOS lovers have a better option now.

Other features of Chromebase are almost similar to the currently available Chromebooks. It would have Haswell-based Intel Celeron processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB SSD, 1.3 MP Webcam with 720p HD recording, HDMI port, USB 3.0 and LAN ports, built-in 5W speakers, Accessories (keyboard, mouse and Cable organizer).

Chromebase is a brave attempt from LG and Google to take ChromeOS to another level. The company has not revealed price of Chromebase yet.
